CLUBS- November 10th
Clubs: Lily Johnson and Natalie Avery
During this time of year, club activities are in full swing! There are many opportunities for fun service activities during the fall, and many clubs are even having Halloween-themed meetings.
The Art Club, NAHS, hosted a haunted house, called Harpold Manor Haunted House, as a fundraiser for their club. Members dressed up in creative (and creepy) costumes and scared participators from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, October 20th; Saturday, October 21st; Friday, October 27th; Saturday, October 28th; and even on Halloween!
The Beta Club held their induction ceremony on Monday, October 23rd in the multipurpose building. New members were officially inducted into the club in front of their family, friends, and current members!
The Anchor Club distributed candy donated by members to Church Street on Thursday, October 26th for their October Service Project. This candy will be passed out to Trick-or-Treaters on Halloween! Anchor Club also held its annual “Halloween Themed” monthly meeting at Anna Kubas’ house where the “Little and Big Sister” reveal was held!
Many clubs and organizations sent members to help at the Elementary School’s PBIS Fall Festival. The children at ECES dressed up as their favorite book character and the students who were on their best behavior got to attend the fall festival. They loved the high school members helping out!
The Friends Helping Friends Club will attend Washington Farms on November 3rd. To sign up for this, see Mrs. Farmer!
For this upcoming weekend, FBLA will send members to participate in the Safehouse Ministries Walk to support people who do not have food, clothes, or homes to live in. Many clubs, such as FBLA and Interact, will also be participating in the Elbert County Fall Festival on the square!
The Blue Print would love to know any other activities clubs are participating in! Let us know and we will include those activities in next week’s addition!
