Book Review- The Last Lecture

The Last Lecture is a nonfictional novel written to inspire readers about overcoming obstacles. While reading The Last Lecture, I learned about an illness that no human should ever have to face however, some do. Terminal cancer does not only hurt one physically, but in every other aspect of one's life. The Last Lecture helped me look at this illness as something more than a tragedy. The author of The Last Lecture, Randy Pausch, has three kids and a loving wife that he doesn't want to leave on earth. Sometimes in life, you don't get to write the next chapter, and this was one of those times. Instead of giving up and shutting down, he accepted this next chapter to which was written for him. Randy took his sickness and wrote to his readers to take their dreams and run with them until they're accomplished. The Last Lecture is simply about living.
