Elbert County Sports are doing unbelievable things here at ECCHS. Our basketball teams are headed to the region championship then later on to state, our Wrestlers are headed to state, and our spring sports (Baseball, Soccer, Tennis, Track, Rifle, & Golf) are kicking off with games and matches.

Basketball: Both of our basketball teams are playing in the region championship on February 9, 2018. No matter the outcome of tonight’s game, both teams will continue on to the first round of state playoffs next Friday February 16, 2018. The first round of state playoffs will be held here in Elberton at the inferno. We can’t wait to see what these next few games have in store!

Tennis: The Blue Devil Tennis Team played their first match against Franklin County last night. The Lady Devils fell short to franklin with a score of 2-3 with 2nd Singles Allison McGarity and 1st Singles Anna Kubas winning their matches. Our Boys Team won 4-1. 2nd Singles Donnell Wilkins, 3rd Singles Bo Kidd, 1st Doubles Logan Vaughn and Spencer Daughtry, and 2nd Doubles Jaymin Carter and Corbin Brown all came out on top. Their next match is Monday, February 12th in Hart County. Come out and support these blue devil athletes!
