CLUBS- December 8th
Clubs: Taylor Smith and Gracie Page
The next few weeks will consist of many different activities for our clubs here at ECCHS. Whether it be preparing floats for the Christmas parade or other various holiday activities, each member who is involved with any club will be busy. Three clubs that have events currently rolling into motion are our Anchor, Friends Helping Friends, and Interact Clubs.
The Interact Club is now selling their annual raffle tickets. Each ticket is one dollar and will be placed in a drawing for a $100 Walmart gift card. That sure would come in handy with Christmas quickly approaching! Each member is required to sell twenty-five tickets. The money raised will be used to buy Christmas gifts for a needy family through Community Partnership. If you are interested in helping give back to the Blue Devil community, seek out an Interact member to purchase a ticket. All sales are due by Friday, December 1st, and the drawing will be held Wednesday, December 6th.
On Monday, November 26th, many clubs attended the annual Night to Shine meeting at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Night to Shine is an event sponsored by Tim Tebow; the event is a prom for special education students from Elbert, Hart, Franklin, and other surrounding counties. Friends Helping Friends Club members play a huge role at Night to Shine. They volunteer to be a “buddy” and spend the whole night with one student, helping them have an amazing night. Anchor Club members also attended the meeting because they help with photobooth setup. Night to Shine is a great event for a great cause.
Stayed tuned for more up-to-date club information here at The Blue Print!
