Teacher Interview- Mrs. Michelle Dye

Thursday, I interviewed Mrs. Michelle Dye  and asked her a few questions on her teaching career. I was able to learn a few more things about her teaching views and how and why she chose to be a teacher. Below are a few questions I asked Mrs. Dye:

How many years have you been teaching?

20 years.

What inspired you to teach?

I had a great math teacher in college.

Why did you choose to teach math?

I would love to teach any subject now that I’ve become an assistant principal and have had the chance to see some great teachers in action.

Have you ever taught at any other schools?

Yes. I taught at Morgan County and Savannah Country Day in Savannah.

What made you want to become an administrator?

I was approached by the administration and decided to give it a try.

I am so glad that I got to talk with Mrs. Dye and learn a few more things about her. She does a wonderful job as an assistant principal and is just as great as a math teacher. We are so fortunate to have her!
