Movie Review- The Belko Experiment
The Belko Experiment: Movie Review: McKenzie Clark
Have you watched a movie lately? The other night my friends and I went to the RedBox and rented the movie “The Belko Experiment”. The movie was nothing like the previews. It had a very good plot, but the acting was not amazing; however, it was still packed full of action and blood and had no shame in showing someone’s brains get blown out.
The Belko Experiment is rated “R” and is considered an action and horror movie. Some of the main stars include John Gallagher, Tony Goldwyn, and Adria Arjona. Most of the reviews are very negative. The movie was criticized for having very gory scenes, most particularly for showing people’s heads being blown off. A review on Rotten Tomatoes states, “unless you're thoroughly entertained by the sight of folks dying gruesomely every six seconds or so the underlying commentary on social-science run amuck will hardly seem worth the brain-splattering tedium”.
The Belko Experiment overall was a decent movie, but it is something that I would not watch again. I think if the writer would have expanded on the story line, the movie could be much, much better, but instead a good plot was wasted on a bad movie.
