About the Studio

The RaiderTV show is produced in house at Cleveland Middle School each morning and aired live in HD. It features a master control room, conference room, and soundstages for the anchors, sports and weather, and interviews.

The show uses 4 Canon XF-105 cameras. Each camera is equipped with a teleprompter. The soundstages receive a master teleprompting feed from one source using a MacMini and Teleprompt+ for Mac. Every soundstage receives back a multiview of all of the cameras and a master audio feed.  Communications between the soundstages and control room are over a Texlex 4 Chanel intercom system.

The show is produced using a BlackMagic ATEM 1ME switcher and broadcast panel. A PreSonus StudioLive 16.0.2 digital mixing board controls audio for the production complex. Two iMacs utilizing ProPresenter feed broadcast graphics and lower thirds. The show is streamed in HD to computers and mobile devices using the ESE Networks platform (Limelight) through an iMac equipped with a BlackMagic UltraStudio 4K and Telestream's Wirecast Pro. The show is recorded to an external Solid State Drive (SSD) using a BlackMagic HyperDeck Studio.
